Pictured below are three books which I have written on the village of Hasland. The first is a local history book entitled ‘Hasland Over The Years’ which contains items on people, buildings, churches, schools, newspaper snippets, Hasland Soldiers killed in both Wars, the memories of some of the older residents of the village and many photos. The next one is ‘Hasland at War’ which contains details of all the Hasland soldiers who gave their lives for their country during both the Great War and the Second World War. The last one is ‘Hasland Junior School - The End of an Era’ which I put together when the original Junior School was closed and the new one opened in 2007. If you are interested in any of the books please do get in touch.

PLEASE NOTE
I have collected the information on this web-site whilst researching my family history.
The census records for Hasland are just a small section of those which I have transcribed. Please don’t take them as being 100% accurate, use them only as a guide and check the records yourself.
I have some further information on the soldiers from Hasland who were killed in the 1st and 2nd World Wars and this is an on-going project.
Please e-mail me at gramar@hartshorn2.freeserve.co.uk if you have an interest in the people of Hasland past or present and I will see if I have any information on them.
